OhioHealth EMS offers several conferences, expos or other events each year. Our family-friendly Trauma in the Tropics cruise and conference is an attractive offering for public safety and healthcare professionals. Participants may choose to attend none, some or all of the conference presentations. A plentiful number of activities and excursions are available throughout; however some choose simply to relax and take in a few of the sites and sounds around them.
Each quarter, we host the OhioHealth EMS Update. This low-cost, day-long conference is typically held at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center and periodically at other locations. Participants from many areas of the state, including members of suburban, rural, paid and volunteer organizations. The EMS Update allows learning in an intimate environment with many opportunities for interaction with our presenters.
The Ohio EMS Conference is our premier, annual, event that attracts over 1500 EMS, emergency care and other healthcare professionals from Ohio and beyond. Leading national presenters and other content experts give presentations on current and cutting-edge topics. OhioHealth is honored to present The John P. Moore Memorial EMS Award for Excellence during the conference. In addition to general sessions, specialty tracks and workshops may also be available. On each conference day we also host the Franklin County Firefighters/OhioHealth Grant Medical Center EMS Education Alumni Breakfast.
